Concentration 3 and 4

This is my 3rd concentration piece about vulnerability. This is about guilt and how when people feel guilty, they often feel more vulnerable. I think the idea is more deep than the first two pieces and it might take a little more thought to understand what specific vulnerability is in this image. This image was planned out from the beginning I knew I wanted this a part of my concentration. The next piece was more of an experiment gone right?
I was trying to see if I could represent how telling people secrets makes you more vulnerable, then i snapped a picture with Mrs. Holliday accidentally in the background. I thought it seemed like two girls spreading rumors about the girl in the back or maybe revealing one of her secrets. Since a theme in my concentration is going to be some how covering or not showing the face, I think both of these pieces connect well. Both use blur and a hand/hand print to cover up the faces.

I was researching artists about a week ago and I stumbled upon Luc De Leeuw's flickr account. He has very intriguing pictures, some of them connected to a theme of vulnerability while also connecting to my theme of a covered face.

are two pictures I especially found compelling. I really want to do an image like the second one because it's very simple, but has a strong impact. I will change it some like probably the use of light or the angle.
That image will most likely be my 5th concentration and my 6th concentration is going to be about trust and letting people influence you (I'm going to use a blindfold somehow).

My idea is still compelling to me because it's applies to everyone. Everyone has some sense of vulnerability; it's human nature. I think it's interesting because people act differently about vulnerabilities; some people hide it, some people admit it, some people try to turn it around on others. The subject is vast and I have several ideas for future pieces!
